Ductless Mini-Splits

Ductless Mini-Split Installation.

A ductless mini-split puts conditioned air directly into the rooms you want it, with no ducts, no air handler, and no hot or cold spots from leaky returns. Each indoor head connects to an outdoor unit through small refrigerant lines, with its own thermostat for per-room control. One outdoor unit can run anywhere from one to eight indoor heads, ideal for homes without ductwork, room additions, and per-zone heating and cooling.

The Basics

What Is a Ductless Mini-Split?

A mini-split, also called a ductless heat pump, skips ductwork entirely. Indoor heads (wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted, or compact ducted-cassette) connect to an outdoor unit through small refrigerant lines and a single penetration in the wall.

Each indoor head heats and cools its own zone, with its own thermostat, so the bedroom can run cooler than the living room, and the basement can stay off entirely when nobody's down there.

It's the right fit for homes without ductwork, additions, garages, ADUs, and any space where you want per-room temperature control.

Find Your Fit

Is a Ductless Mini-Split Right for Your Home?

If your home does not have ductwork, a mini-split is almost always the answer. If it does, ducted is usually the preferred choice.

Best For

If any of these sound like your home, ductless is the right path.

  • Homes without ductwork
  • Per-room or per-zone temperature control
  • Room additions, sun-rooms, or finished basements
  • Older homes where new ductwork would mean tearing out walls
  • Garage workshops, ADUs, or detached studios

Not the Right Fit

If ductless isn't a fit, try these other options.

  • Existing ductwork from a furnace and A/C setup you would prefer to keep using
  • Whole-house single-thermostat preference (one temperature throughout)
  • Preference for hidden equipment, no visible wall-mounted indoor heads

What Homeowners Say About Their Mini-Split Install

โ€œConner and the team did a great job with the whole process. From the start I felt like I was working with a knowledgeable team. The app for design and specifications was cool and easy. The team was fast and efficient. The end product will be a great improvement to our 50 year old log house. It will be much more comfortable and efficient to heat and cool. The installation team was expert, experienced, efficient, on time, clean, flexible and friendly to work with.โ€
